INTRODUCTION TO SMALL SCALE MANUFACTURING OF HOUSEHOLD CLEANING AGENTS

This course provides comprehensive training in the small-scale manufacturing of household cleaning products by combining scientific principles, practical production techniques, quality assurance, and entrepreneurship. Participants will learn the formulation, production, quality control, packaging, labelling, branding, and safe handling of products such as liquid soap, liquid detergent, hand wash, alcohol-based hand sanitizer, germicide, sodium hypochlorite (bleach), air and fabric fresheners, and toilet cleaners. The course also introduces Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory requirements, business planning, costing and pricing, record keeping, marketing strategies, and customer relationship management, equipping learners with the technical knowledge and entrepreneurial skills needed to produce high-quality household cleaning products and establish or expand a successful, sustainable manufacturing business.
